Hotels in Norwich City

Hotels in Norwich city are wide ranging to suit the needs of a variety of types of tourists, and each one caters to its customers in a special and unique way. There are modern style hotels such as the Holiday Inn in Norwich city, which offer modern amenities such as wi-fi, flat and screen TVs.

Then there are the old style hotels such as the The St. Giles House Hotel or the Catton Old House Hotel, the latter of which dates back to 1632 and accommodated British Royalty such as Queen Elizabeth I. These older style hotels keep a style and mystique that takes you back to the authentic English experience that many desire.

There are hotels in the countryside, attracting more of the laid back crowd looking to experience the natural setting while still within a short driving distance from the centre of Norwich. Usually, parking in these countryside hotels is much easier than parking in the heart of the city itself. Bed and Breakfast style homes are very common along the outskirts of the city, and authentic cuisine is almost guaranteed at each and every one of these places.

There are also quite a few hotels located near the airport, which feature a mix of old and new school styling that compliments the cultural aspect of Norwich. The majority of the accommodation available will be found in the city, however, as it is the easy access to the famous open air market that attracts many of the tourists to Norwich each year.
